Because of FerriteCore and ModernFix optimizations, Cocolously Optimized requires very little memory. We recommend 3 GB to 4 GB of RAM. Allocating more than 6 GB is generally unnecessary and can cause Java garbage collection lag spikes.
Cocolously includes Iris Shaders out of the box. Go to Options -> Video Settings -> Shader Packs, click Open Shader Folder, drop your favorite shader pack (e.g. Complimentary or Complementary Reimagined), and select it.
